Crop Photos and Manipulate Photos for your Product
Images
You may need to crop and manipulate your product photos before
uploading them to your online store administration:
Start Microsoft Paint
(Start Menu > Accessories > Paint).
From the File
menu, select Open.
Find the image file you would like to edit in .jpg, .gif,
.bmp, or other file format and select Open.
Now that the image file has been loaded, click the first icon
that looks like a dotted rectangle. The selection tool button is at the
top of the second column of buttons in the menu on the left.
Drag on the image to select the area of the image you would like to crop.
From the Edit menu, select
Copy in order to copy the selected
cropped area to your computers clip board.
From the File
menu, select New in open
a new blank image editing window.
From the Edit menu, select
Paste in order
to paste the cropped area to the blank white image window.
The cropped image should appear in the top left corner of
the blank window.
You can now crop the image further from the bottom right corner
of the blank window.
Drag on the blue dot in the bottom right corner of the white
image window to crop the image further if needed.
When the cropped image is ready to be saved, From the
File
menu, select Save As in order to save the cropped image into a new file on your computer.
Find the folder you would like to save the new image file
to and then enter the filename for the new file and select
Save.
That's It!
You may now select File > New in order to work on the next
product photo
When you are ready to close the Paint program, select the
X in the top right corner of the Paint program window. Choose No if a message
pops up to save your work.
