1. What does DataMine track?
DataMine tracks purchases from all referring web sites. This includes: free search engines, pay search engines, custom marketing campaigns, distribution partners, email marketing campaigns, and any traffic received from any web site that links to your web site. DataMine reports include: number of click-thrus, number of sales or leads, sales revenue, and conversion rate.

2. Do I need to buy software or download software?
No. DataMine is completely web based we host it and provide all technical support for you.

3. Does DataMine track leads?
Yes. You can track leads and custom campaigns.

4. Do you track sales from repeat visitors?
Yes. By default the cookie is set to 365 days, however you can change the length in order to track repeat visitors and repeat buyers.

5. Are DataMine reports in real-time?
Yes! DataMine reports clicks and actions/sales in real-time.

6. Which search engines do you track?
All free engines and all pay-per-click engines. DataMine has automated tracking with Google Adwords, Findwhat, Kanoodle, Ah-ha, and Overture.

7. What technology does DataMine use to track visitors to my web site?
DataMine uses cookies to track unique users to your web site. The DataMine tracking code is JavaScript - however, if your site does not support JavaScript, we can provide you with alternative code.

8. What does account set-up entail?
Account set-up is easy and takes less than 10 minutes. First, you will cut and paste 2 tracking codes - one for your landing page, one for your order confirmation page. This step is easy, we can do all of this work for you as well.

9. What is the difference between DataMine and my log files?
Logfiles have limitations that DataMine overcomes. Log-files are unable to report data to you in real-time - DataMine does. Log-files do not report traffic and sales together which makes it very difficult to correlate- with log files you can not tell which keywords and/or marketing campaigns are delivering sales.   The only way to readily track traffic and sales is with tracking software - like DataMine.
